Thank you for visiting Organic Hangout. Wonderful to have you here.
Let’s get acquainted…. I was born, went through High School, attended College more years ago that I like to admit all in the States of Illinois and Wisconsin. I love the Midwest which was a perfect learning ground. Winters are a great learning grown that things aren’t always balmy. Go Pack. Green Bay Packers that is!
I call Oregon home now which I have come to love. Absolutely love the Oregon Coast.
The journey that brought me here writing on a Website are many. It has been a long road filled with excitement. However, I feel an obligation to tell a story to give readers some concrete background of why this is a daily driver for me.
I will skip some details that led up to this moment but suffice it to say they were important and I hope you will be able to read between the lines.
A Change of Direction
One day, a little over 10 years ago 🙂 ….. I came out of the shower and took at close look at my body, which honestly I didn’t do very much. I kind of passed by that moment every day. Sadly, was appalled at what I saw. Actually petrified. I was fat! In defense of that ugly image you just had, I had shape (muscle) that some complimented for my physique. But, the cold hard fact was that I was fat. It was a lifetime slap in the face, that I could be that blind… Maybe it crept up on me when I wasn’t looking but nonetheless I was fat.
So, I will really shorten this. I knew diets didn’t work. My parents along with millions were example of that. This is my opinion for most, not all, of course. So, I started the work of learning how this happened, and through that process discovered something we all know.
Now that matter is much more difficult than when I grew up. Scary world from a food standpoint. The dangers we have prior generations did not have. We do have many advantages of knowledge if we listen to it, and technology if we take advantage of it. Today, we can get more information that we can ever absorb. But, the answers are still simple after all of that.
I thank God for blessing me with the ability to be at my High School weight and fitter. My Goal has remained for over a decade to be stronger every year. Yes, I am blessed and eternally thankful.
My goal here is to provide information so people can just “Hang Out,” learn and share to others. Many men today are in that same place that I was. “Men” kind of explains most of it, we can change.
My hope daily is to contribute in some way to those around me every day. It is a goal and a necessity.
Finally, if you got this far, thank you, glad to have you here, and the “Hang out” is here for you 24/7.
